Richard Gill Associates Limited (RGAL) was formed in Barbados in May 1977 by Mr. Richard C. Gill, a Barbadian Town Planner who by that time had gained significant experience both in Government’s Town Planning Office and in private practice with his previous partnership, Gill & Lashley Associates.
Mr. Andy Gill is the Principal and Senior Planning Consultant of the Firm and is soundly supported by a talented team of draftsmen and administrators, and benefits from the knowledge and experience of Richard who acts as a Senior Consultant on select projects.

Mr. Andrew (Andy) Gill, Principal and Senior Planning Consultant at RGAL has a strong Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology background having worked in these respective fields before completing his Masters in Town Planning. Andrew is a Professional Member of the Barbados Town & Country Planning Society (where he acts as Vice President), a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) of Britain, and is a Chartered Town Planner. His planning experience includes industrial power plants, renewable energy projects (solar photovoltaic, wind, biomass), design & implementation of housing and commercial layouts, master-planning, urban design, policy guidance, project management, design of traffic circulation improvements, industrial and commercial submissions, Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (EIA), Scoping Reports, planning hearings and settlement development plans.

Mr. Richard Gill is the most senior Town Planning Consultant at RGAL, a Professional Member (and past President) of the Barbados Town & Country Planning Society, a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) of Britain, and a Chartered Town Planner. As founder of the Company and Chairman, he has been personally responsible for a wide range of projects over the past 43 years. As a past Town Planner in Government service and having involvement in many large studies and projects, he brings a wealth of experience to bear on every project.
