Richard Gill Associates Limited (RGAL) was formed in May 1977 by Mr. Richard C. Gill, a Barbadian Town Planner who by that time had gained significant experience both in Government's Town Planning Office and in private practice with his previous partnership, Gill & Lashley Associates.

Mr. Richard Gill is the Chairman and Principal of the Company, and has been personally responsible for the majority of professional work in the past. Today, the Firm has three (3) professional Town Planners on staff and is able to undertake projects which are large in scope and complexity. The Firm is expertly supported by two (2) draftsmen and two (2) administrators who continue to be invaluable to its success and growth.

Principal Town Planner:
Richard C. Gill, BA(hons), FRTPI
Mr. Richard Gill is the Principal Town Planning Consultant at RGAL, President and a Professional Member of the Barbados Town & Country Planning Society, and a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute of Britain. As founder of the Company and Chairman, he has been personally responsible for a wide range of projects over the past 35 years. As a past Town Planner in Government service and having involvement in many large studies and projects, he brings a wealth of experience to bear on every project.

Senior Town Planner:
William R. Bain, BA (hons), BTP, MRTPI
Mr. William (Billy) Bain is a Senior Town Planning Consultant at RGAL, a Professional Member of the Barbados Town & Country Planning Society and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute of Britain. He has been employed in Local Government in Scotland and England and joined the Firm in July 1995. His main experience is in development control, development planning, housing including the design of residential layouts and planning research, hotel and condominium projects and Planning Reviews (appeals).

Town Planner:
Andrew R. Gill, BSc (hons), MScTP (dist)
Mr. Andrew (Andy) Gill, a Town Planning Consultant at RGAL has a strong Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology background and worked in these respective fields before completing his Masters in Town Planning. His experience includes the design and implementation of housing layouts, masterplanning, urban design, project management, design of traffic circulation improvements, planning hearings and settlement development plans.
